Students should be able to rig and sail their Optis independently. To participate in this course, your sailor should have taken a summer of Beginner Opti Racing or have similar experience from another organization.It is highly recommended you reach out to our Program Director , Ali Hogue at Hoguea@pbcb.cc before signing a sailor up if they have not participated  in an OPTI class at PBCB.
