An on water skills check and orientation with our waterfront staff is mandatory for all first time pass holders.Because we operate a shared fleet in a unique environment, the orientation is a mandatory safety check. It ensures every sailor is on the same page regarding PBCB emergency protocols and vessel care. This consistency is what allows us to keep our boats in top shape for the whole community.This is a mandatory requirement no matter what your sailing experience may be.The orientation covers vital local knowledge: shifting sandbars, specific tide patterns, and 'no-go' zones that aren't always obvious.
