Kids in Cats
Selected Friday's from 1230-3pm
$75.00 per day.
Ages 8 and up.
This program is intended to introduce children to adventure sailing around Pleasant Bay and Little Pleasant Bay in our Sandpiper catboats. Led by Catboat Program instructors Julia and Peter Grumbling, participants will learn light navigation skills, beaching and anchoring, and other introductory seamanship skills while having fun. The catboat is the perfect adventure boat, allowing for some shallow water exploration of the creeks and shoals around Pleasant Bay.
A great add-on for participants in M – Th “All Day Sailing”! Please note that this program is offered twice each Friday: during the morning and afternoon sessions. Students may sign up for one or both sessions, for one or many weeks!
