Join Sarah Griscom PHD as she discusses how for the past 25 years, the Towns surrounding Pleasant Bay and the south side of Chatham have successfully run an all-volunteer coastal water monitoring program. Some of the nutrient and dissolved oxygen data that has been collected by hundreds of citizens throughout the years will be presented. Attendees will learn about the significance and power of long-term data sets and will have the opportunity to handle the sampling equipment.
