Sailing & Science Summer Camp
Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
 8 Weekly sessions from June 23rd through August 11th
Ages 7 to 14
Registration for the summer of 2025 will open at 10am on February 18th, 2025.
The Sailing and Science Camp program pairs a half day of discovery science and exploration with a half day of sailing.
During the science portion of the day campers may make aquariums, care for baby oysters in an upweller, build and race cardboard boats, use beach Seine, observe marine habitats and wildlife, use microscopes or measure phytoplankton.
On the water campers will be sailing in Flying Scot sail boats learning basic sailing skills. Topics covered will be safety on the water, reading the wind, parts of the boat and sail, rigging, mooring procedures, steering, tacking and jibing.
